VC GROUP is pleased to be a sponsor of the seminar “Plastic Crisis and Solution” organized by Lao Youth Union in conjunction with VUDAA & MONRE, Green Vientiane, JICA Laos.
“Plastic Crisis & Solutions From Producers To Users” – A seminar took place at the Lao Youth Union of Vientiane, Laos on May 8th, 2019 to discuss solutions to plastic waste – a major threat to the environment around the globe.
The event was held by the Lao Youth Union. Around 90 people met in Vientiane for a Round Table discussion of the Plastic Crisis in Laos and solutions to it. Leading companies including Coca Cola, Beer Lao, VC Group attended and spoke, as well as environmentally responsible food businesses Love Life Cafe, Joma, and Common Grounds/Agro Asie. Many leading NGOs and International organizations too.
Participants looked into plastic pollution in the world and Laos. They offered recommendations and experience in building plastic waste management models, reducing single-use plastics and turning this type of waste into a resource.
